UWMS ISLAMIC SCHOOL VISION

 

UMWS proudly announces the opening of our weekend Islamic school.  Since UWMS was founded almost three decades ago, our hope was to create a community that empowers Muslim Americans to faithfully practice Islam, the teachings of the Prophet (PBUH), and meaningfully contribute to our society and our country.  Providing proper Islamic education to our children that is based on Qur'an and Sunnah of Prophet Muhmmad (pbuh) is a central tenet of UWMS's mission and our responsibility to our growing community.

The UWMS Weekend School will offer several classes that include education to: learn the characteristics of the all merciful and loving God and His prophets, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (peace be upon all the Prophets); fully understand the beauty and core messages of the Qur'an; comprehend and grasp the mainstream aspects of Islam; and follow the traditions of the last Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Our hope is to prepare our children with character, humility, and strength in their identity as Muslim Americans who are positioned for success in our communities.
