Vision
Our vision is to empower youth with Islamic knowledge and Prophetic guidance to become the next generation of Muslim American leaders who are strong in character, proud of their Islamic identity, and committed to being contributing citizens in the larger society.
Mission
The mission of UWMS Islamic School is to provide an Islamic education to our children that will be based on the Quran and Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing be upon him, nurturing students to love, understand, and practice Islam with confidence and pride while developing their Islamic knowledge, Qur’anic literacy, character, responsibility, and leadership skills.
Values
Our values are rooted in Islamic knowledge grounded in the Qur’an and Prophetic teaching, Akhlaq, critical thinking, a commitment to learning and excellence, pride in Islamic identity, responsibility, service, leadership, belonging, and citizenship.
Course of Study
The School welcomes students of all backgrounds, subject to availability of space, who demonstrate responsibility towards school work, regular attendance and good behavior. It offers several classes that include, but are not limited to, the characteristics of the all merciful and loving Allah and all of His Prophets from Ibrahim, Musa and Isa to Muhammad (peace be upon all the Prophets); the reading and comprehension of the Quran; discussion and explanation of the mainstream aspects of Islam; and explanation of the traditions of our beloved and final prophet, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
