Alhumdulillah!  With the grace of Allah (swt) UWMS will hold its first Jumma prayer at its permanent new location at 600 Bear Ridge Road, Pleasantville, NY, this coming Friday, insha'Allah!

Date: Friday, September 13, 2019 

Time: 1:30 - 2:00 PM
We will continue to follow our same schedule of starting the Khutba at 1:30 pm promptly and finishing the prayer by 2:00 pm Insha'Allah. Please plan on arriving slightly earlier than you might regularly to familiarize yourself with the grounds and the new building.

Special Requests:
1. Please come in a state of Wudu. While we do have bathrooms, they are still under renovation.
2. Please park in the PARKING LOT and NOT on public roadways.  We do not want to upset our new neighbors.

A'salaam o'Alyakium waRhamatulah waBarakatuh!
 

Alhamdulillah Rabil Alameen UWMS has now officially closed on our new property at 600 Bear Ridge Road, Pleasantville, NY. A heartfelt thanks to all those who have contributed their hard-earned funds and their time and effort to make this new Masjid and Community Center a reality. May Allah reward you all for your efforts.

While this property is now officially ours, it requires some work before it is ready to occupy. The Buildings and Grounds Committee (formerly the Project Committee) will be working over the next several weeks to make key areas of the facility available for use, especially for Jumma prayer. Please stay tuned for updates on this. Also please consider volunteering for cleanup efforts at the facility to be scheduled soon and check our website for updates.
 
May Allah bless this endeavor and reward those who have given of themselves in the past and those who will continue to in the future.

By the Grace of Allah (SWT), the UWMS Board of Trustees is thrilled to announce the purchase of a new property that will immediately serve as the UWMS Masjid and Community Center. 

 

Pending completion of the anticipated sale in late June 2019, UWMS will acquire a move-in ready 23,000 SF building situated on a 15+ acre property in Pleasantville, NY.  This property includes a prayer area, several classrooms, outdoor sports fields, an indoor gymnasium/basketball court, and 151 parking spaces.  It will Insha’Allah serve as our home for many years to come; and we are blessed to be able to announce this development during the holy month of Ramadan, Alhamdulillah Rabul Alameen.
